Marie Horner

Marie Horner is an experienced senior employment law specialist at ALT Legal in Wetherby. She is also CIPD qualified in HR management.

Marie is now a mum to two teenage boys, but prior to deciding to pursue a career in the law over 20 years ago, she was a languages graduate and spent time living in various countries abroad.

Over the years, Marie has acted for a wide range of clients, from representing individuals who have faced unfair dismissal, discrimination, and bullying, through to advising large organisations both on day-to-day HR and employment law issues, as well as representing them in defending tribunal claims.  Marie has a wealth of experience in advising upon areas of employment law such as discrimination under the Equality Act 2010, flexible working legislation, and rights during maternity leave.
