Only 2% of people working in childcare are men and a new documentary series for channel 4 aims to highlight the issue and show how important men are in children’s upbringing, but it needs your help.
Channel 4 is asking Workingmums.co.uk readers if they can nominate their partners to take part in the documentary.
The idea of the show is to select four men to work in a real life nursery for three weeks, under the careful supervision of the nursery staff.
The men will be carefully selected and undergo extensive checks, say the series’ producers.
The series aims to show men that childcare is a tough job, yet a very rewarding one, suitable for both men and women.
The production company plans to film for three weeks beginning at the end of February, but they need to secure their contributors before Christmas, or by mid-January at the very latest.
