Credit Suisse announces fourth Real Returns programme

Global financial services company Credit Suisse is running its fourth returner programme for professionals who have taken a voluntary career break.

The 12-week Real Returns programme helps experienced professionals to transition back into the workforce. The paid course starts on April 25 2017 and finishes on July 14 2017.

Those taking part will work on a project at one of the firm’s business areas in London based upon their expertise, interests and skillset, including transferable skills gained during their career break. They will have clearly defined objectives and measurable goals and be able to provide regular feedback.

The programme includes orientation/training sessions, sessions on strategic business and regulatory changes in the financial services industry, executive training on impact, presentation and employability skills and technology updates. Participants will be paired with a mentor who will be there to advise them before, during and after the programme and will have the ongoing support of HR professionals and a dedicated line manager.
They will also be able to participate in events hosted by the bank including events and initiatives run by the strong employee networks, including diversity networks such as the European Women’s Network, LGBT, Multi-Cultural and the Family Network.
Credit Suisse is looking for people who have been on a voluntary career break for two or more years and who have a proven track record of professional achievements gained within the financial and/or professional services sector and who have been at VP+ level (or equivalent) before their career break.

They will consider experience gained within Private Banking, Wealth Management and Asset Management, Finance, Operations, IT, Legal and Compliance, Audit, Risk, Chief Operating Office and Project Management, Investment Banking and Capital Markets, Sales and Trading.
