Enter Recruitment is to host its first job fair on Friday 18th May at China Exchange in London.
Enter Recruitment has been formed by Teri Etherington (pictured) with a view to helping job-seekers join the industry via a series of educational job fairs, the first of which will be held from 11am to 7pm in London.
With almost eight thousand new agencies registered every year at Companies House, the industry is booming and desperately needs more individuals to choose recruitment as a career. It is estimated that there are currently 20,000 unfilled vacancies with recruiters across the UK and this figure is destined to increase.
Recruitment offers a potentially lucrative and fulfilling career as the sector continues to help businesses address issues caused by skill shortages and an ageing population, plus the impact of changing labour patterns including the rise of contracting and the so-called the gig economy.
Enter has partnered with a select group of forward-thinking recruiters and industry bodies to promote the benefits of working in this dynamic and fast-paced sector. Recruitment is a highly inclusive arena and provides opportunities for those taking their first steps into employment, career changers or individuals returning to work perhaps after raising children or taking a break.
“We are really keen, says Teri, for those that have had a career break to register and come along to this free to attend event, to experience first-hand the breadth of careers available, gain knowledge to enable visitors to make an informed decision as to whether a career in recruitment is right for them.”
Visitors to the Job Fair will be able to meet successful recruiters and find out exactly what skills are required to prosper in what is a thriving, vibrant environment. Genuine career advice and a CV review service will also be available in addition to the opportunity to talk with potential employers searching for new talent.
