Interested in starting a franchise, but not entirely sure where to begin? The Franchise Show at London’s Excel is on this weekend and will cover everything you need to know about setting up your own business using a tried and tested formula.

Seminars cover everything from getting the most out of franchising, international franchising and why franchising is good in the current climate to raising money to buy a franchise, sales and marketing and the legal framework. One reason franchises are good in the current climate is that they have a much better success rate than any other self-starter business because they are based on existing business models that have been proven to work.

One speaker at the conference, which runs from 12th to 13th February, is Rachel Elnaugh, entrepreneur, author and former Dragon’s Den panellist who will speak about the problems entrepreneurs face at every stage of their business journey and how franchising can often be a hugely beneficial route to the business. The show is for those who are thinking of becoming franchisees or franchisors and existing franchises which are looking to stay ahead of the game. Workingmums.co.uk will have a stand at the show to promote its Franchise Opportunities, where franchisors advertise for new franchisees. The variety on offer is huge, from franchises for music lessons to those selling shoes.
