About You

You do not have to be an expert cleaner. We have proven systems that you can use to train your team including Expert Procedures and Finishing Touches.  We are a premium service provider and in a recent survey 94% of our clients said “You make our home happier”.

You do need empathy for our clients and a strong desire to deliver a high quality service and make clients homes happier!

You need to be a people person with the ability to build, develop and grow professional housekeeping teams using our systems

You’ll have ambition and drive and be determined to succeed as a business owner

You’ll be able to demonstrate some experience in management, training, sales, customer service, finance management or marketing but your attitude to business and ability to take on board advice, support and training are a real asset – we provide comprehensive training

Local teacher ditches books for dusters by launching new eco-friendly cleaning business

Banbury, UK (2 August 2019) – Yorkshire born and bred teacher Emma Bini has returned home to swap her career in education for a new national domestic housekeeping franchise business, Bright & Beautiful®, covering York, Wetherby, Boston Spa, Tadcaster and the surrounding areas.

Prior to becoming a new franchise owner, Emma dedicated her time to teaching modern foreign languages (MFL) in secondary schools where she specialised in French and Spanish. Following her time studying in Spain, Emma spent a year teaching in Venezuela before returning to her home county Yorkshire.

After 13 years of working in education and juggling a young family, Emma decided that she wanted a change of career that would allow her to take control of her destiny. She chose to buy a franchise as she had always wanted to be her own boss, and felt that the managerial and organisational skills she had gained from leading seven other MFL teachers would be transferable and invaluable to the day to day running of her own business.
Launching on 1st August, Emma will be accompanied by her trusted team of three local professional housekeepers, all of whom have been carefully selected, referenced and DBS checked, and they will work in teams to ensure reliability and client peace of mind. The teams will deliver a bespoke and tailored service that offers cleaning, tidying, laundry and ironing to the highest standards of security and service and will only use eco-friendly products and equipment to ensure they protect the health of their clients, their children and the team.

Emma said: “When I first decided to make a career change, I initially considered starting up a business on my own, but quickly realised that my lack of business experience would hinder my potential. Franchising seemed to provide the perfect balance of having the freedom to grow my own business, while receiving the support and expertise that I was missing.

“Having had some unsatisfactory cleaning experiences myself, I could certainly see the demand for a reliable client-facing company. Deborah Hart:

Deborah spent 17 years as a paramedic team leader for the North East Ambulance Service. She loved the role but it wasn’t a family friendly job, so looked for something that offered flexible working to fit around looking after preschool twin.  She wanted to work from home and be there for her children without having to comply to set working hours. Her friend suggested the franchise route, so she started looking into this.  Cleaning seemed the obvious choice: as a clean freak, she understood the need for this service and the popularity of it.  Bright & Beautiful stood out a mile, she loved the ethical and eco aspects of the company.

Faye McDonough:

Faye was Bright & Beautiful’s first franchisee and has just been honoured as a finalist in the prestigious BFA awards for Female Franchisee of The Year 2015.

Faye chose Bright & Beautiful because it gave her financial stability and the time she wanted and needed to be with her children as a single mum.

Launched in 2010, Faye now has a team of 20 Professional Housekeepers providing eco-friendly cleaning, tidying, laundry and ironing services to over 250 homes each week in Altrincham.
