Find out why franchising might be a good idea if you want to work flexibly, for yourself:
Creative Movements was established in 1990 in Sydney Australia. On becoming a mother, Ginny Bradley, the Creative Director, was drawn to working with young children. Returning to London in 1997, Ginny completed a postgraduate degree in Drama and Movement Therapy at the Central School of Speech and Drama (Sesame Method). Offering carefully chosen material and in a non-competitive environment Creative Movements provides a safe and contained atmosphere in order to encourage children to express themselves and be curious about the world around them.
We are looking for enthusiastic people who love working with children have a great personality, lots of energy and a big imagination! Although our classes involve movement, they can be adapted to suit your individual strengths, you don’t have to be a dancer! You could be a mother, performer, business professional, actor/actress, drama/dance therapy trained professionals; anyone with a passion for inspiring and nurturing young children
through our unique method who would like to run their own business.
Our classes offer far more than just movement and dance. We need franchisees to encourage young children to think independently and act responsibly through inviting them to participate in stories that stage socially relevant themes. As a franchisee, you will be able to offer weekly classes, holiday workshops, and themed parties, all under the Creative Movements umbrella. You can decide for yourself which age groups to work with. If you are a business professional, you may decide to bring in teachers to run the practical and physical aspects of the business for you.

Through lively classes we invite children to participate in stories and movement in order to encourage independent thought and enquiry, with the aim of nurturing inner contentment and responsibility.
Within an abundance of fun, we offer suitable classes for each stage of development from toddler to 8 years and beyond. There are no exams to pass, no medals to gain, no people to compete with. The experience is the reward as is the child’s want for nothing more.
Creative Movements is a flexible and portable business that can be organised to fit around family and other commitments. Although we have concentrated mainly on working with Children, Creative Movements also offers adults classes and parties, which are a great success! As a franchisee, you will be given all the tools needed on both the practical and business side to enable you to run classes, parties and workshops for children aged 16 months and beyond. You are also able to offer sessions in schools, nurseries and in the community. Creative Movements is a style that can be adapted to many dance, drama and even singing genres. We encourage each franchisee to focus on their individual areas of expertise. One of the strengths that we take pride in is the very personal nature of the business. Our clients build great trust in us and for this reason we often keep clients (and their siblings) for many years.
King Alfred School, World Book Day:
‘Creative Movements was simply outstanding. The children were thoroughly engaged in this creative interpretation of story, involving movement, imagination and visualisation. In this world of TV, Play station and X-Boxes, Creative Movements offered imaginative journeys without technology.’
‘Rarely can a child find a place where they can feel they have really become a character.’
