Fun Fest Holiday Club empowers children by giving them a choice about how they spend their holidays. With a menu of exciting activities for every morning and afternoon, children can plan their own individual holiday programme. There are activities to suit everyone; from Sports Action, Nerf Gun Challenge, Mission Impossible and Great Outdoors to Master Chef, Pottery, Jewellery Making and Beauty School.

We are Ofsted registered from early years and run by qualified and experienced childcare professionals as well as sports coaches and enthusiastic students who have been trained in safeguarding and first aid. This creates an energetic and fun atmosphere balanced with a safe, controlled environment. We are mainly based on school premises.

Our aim is to offer working parents a solution to their holiday childcare dilemmas; high quality and flexible holiday childcare that suits all their children and runs for full working days for the duration of the holidays.

About You

Running a single club is not expected to be the equivalent of a full-time job in terms of earnings or time commitment. This works to the advantage of our franchisees as they can decide at what level they wish to work. They can run a single club on a part time basis or they can open more clubs/ services to work and earn at a higher level (We have experience of running day nurseries, wraparound care and children’s parties).

Due to the seasonal nature of the business, more attention will be required in the run up to and during the school holiday periods.  Recruiting a Club Manager means that you do not, however, have to be present at the club at all times.

Our opportunities would ideally suit parents who want to work flexibly around their family and who want to be able to include their family in their working life.

Childcare qualifications are helpful but not necessary.

Financial Information

A Fun Fest Holiday Club franchise costs £14,999 + vat plus an ongoing management fee of 10% of sales.

This gives our franchisees the licence to run Fun Fest Holiday Clubs within a defined region of the UK which contains at least 17,500 children aged 4-12 years.

A single medium-sized club (70 children per day) can earn £30k per year (£2.7k per week).

A single large club (120 children per day) can earn £65k per year (£4.5k per week).

This is gross profit based upon clubs operating for 11 weeks per year.

These figures indicate profits which have been experienced by the franchisor and its franchisees. There is no guarantee that you will achieve the same results, nor is it intended that you should rely on them as a warranty or guarantee of what you will achieve.

Training and Support

Fun Fest Franchising

A highly qualified and experienced team of childcare and business professionals have developed the processes and tools required to set up a Fun Fest Holiday Club and will train and support franchisees in using them to set up and run their own clubs.

Training comprises a week working in one of our clubs as well as a series of training modules, many of which can be completed online.  Full childcare is provided for training at Solihull where we run a day nursery from birth as well as our flag ship holiday club for children from 3 years old.

Each franchisee is allocated a Regional Operations Director who is tasked with providing regular, ongoing support.

My name is Josie Wilkinson and I live in Solihull with my long term partner and 2 children aged 7 & 17

I have a part time job as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (3 days per week) as well as running my own Fun Fest Holiday Club in Coleshill.

Running my own business fits well around the family and my part time job as I have 2 admin days at home while the children are at school.  During the school holidays, my youngest child attends the club, enjoying the activities, playing and making new friends whilst my eldest child now gets valuable work experience as one of the Play Workers.  It is lovely to have my children with me while I work, I know they are in a safe environment and it keeps us all entertained during the holidays.

I commit to 2 full days of work during the week as well as responding to customers queries and bookings, promotional work and networking as it is required, this is not too time consuming though!  I commit more time, including weekends, as the school holidays approach.  I mainly work from home but do have to attend some meetings at my school and to promote my business in the area

Training and ongoing support is provided by head office.  I am very fortunate in that I have progressed through Fun Fest over 6 years.  I began as a Play Leader in Solihull before being promoted to Deputy Manager then later Childcare Manager in Sutton.  Now I own and manage my own franchise in North Solihull.  Therefore, I have acquired sufficient skills, knowledge and experience to enable me to successfully continue with my own Fun Fest Holiday Clubs.
