Amey are looking for motivated caretakers to join our teams working at Rectory Farm Primary School

Location: Rectory Farm Primary
Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri 1530-1830
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: 15 hours a week

What is the purpose of this role?

To carry out a range of daily facilities duties which facilitate the smooth running of the premises, providing support for a safe and efficient operation whilst ensuring all customer requirements are met.

What will you be doing?

• Daily upkeep of the premises, opening and locking up doors and gates
• Ensure faults are rectified in a timely and safe manner
• Make sure that sites are kept clean, tidy, safe and running smoothly
• Always keeping in line with cleaning best practice and health and safety regulations.
• General security services including management of CCTV and alarm systems - training will be provided
• Variety of DIY, building and ground maintenance
• React to and execute immediately any general repairs and maintenance duties as required or requested

What do you need to be successful?

• Knowledge and previous experience in carrying out basic maintenance tasks
• Knowledgeable of Health and Safety regulation
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Committed to providing excellent customer service
