Job Details
A key part of how we keep the Group safe is by embedding a strong risk and control culture across the business. The IT Business Unit Control Function (BUCF) supports colleagues in the identification and management of risks, controls and issues, ensuring that the Group is compliant with Group Policies, Regulatory Standards and maintains control of its business in an effective manner.
The world is constantly changing and organisations have to adapt and respond to new risks and heightened regulatory interest in areas such as IT Resilience, Cyber Security, Codes of Conduct etc.
As a function we are undergoing a period of significant change, transforming our capabilities to support the Bank, now and in the future. * Support the engagements with Directors and Leads to identify, assess and manage risks in both new and existing agile initiatives and the associated operational risks.
* Through analysis of MI and risk data, provide inputs into the IT Divisional Risk Committee and other department risk forums, taking ownership of subsequent actions.
* Foster a risk aware culture within Business Unit(s) ensuring adequate training and risk expertise is provided across their operations.
We require a high-performing individual with the drive, experience, senior stakeholder management skills and vision to help deliver our current services and to build and lead our future strategy. You'll need to have:
* Experience of IT risk management and an understanding the external environment and threat landscape.
* Experience of risk management for the delivery and operations of automated development and test environments.
* Experience of agile delivery.
In return we offer a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with prospects to really develop your capabilities and career.
Whatever your aspiration, you can also expect excellent benefits, personal development and a career that's enriching and full of opportunity. join us and you'll be part of an organisation that values your contribution and empowers you to make a difference.
Together we make it possible.
Company
We’re creating an organisation that attracts, retains and develops the best talent in the industry, and one that openly embraces diversity too. But more than that – we want to be a great place to work. We invest in our people, offering the best training and coaching, and by encouraging them to contribute to our leading corporate and social responsibility practices. We offer flexible working hours and days, under our Work Options scheme. This means that you can have a challenging and rewarding career, and still have an ideal work/life balance.
Flexible working is at the heart of our strategy. We’re re-imagining where, when, and how our people work, with new approaches designed to meet the ever-changing needs of customers and colleagues. These include increasing our use of remote-working tools and technology, as well as placing less reliance on a 9-to-5 mindset. For many of our office-based colleagues, we work in hybrid ways which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of their time at one of our office sites.
