The Workplace Distribution team are integral to the success of our Insurance strategy to 'protect today and secure tomorrow'. Our colleagues represent and promote our flagship Scottish Widows workplace savings propositions across the financial services industry; engaging with consultants, advisers, employers, trustees and end-customers, to build strong, lasting relationships to achieve business results.

The core purpose of the role is to build and implement our client relationship management strategy and capability across both large and mid-market clients, through an intermediated and direct approach via the Commercial Bank.

You'll leverage strong external relationships with leading clients and their advisers whilst simultaneously influencing key internal stakeholders across the end-to-end workplace savings business to deliver and influence strategy and achieve financial targets.

You'll provide effective leadership for the Client Relationships teams, working closely with the Head of Business Development (Workplace Savings) to deliver the Workplace objectives and also participate in the wider Distribution strategy as a key member of the leadership team.

* You'll create and execute the Workplace client relationship management strategy, via the newly segmented client portfolios, reaching across both our intermediated and Commercial Bank distribution channels
* You'll build and develop extraordinary relationships with key influencers within leading clients and their advisers to fully understand their strategy and business model.
* By implementing innovative strategies, you'll grow our client contribution rates and fund assets.
* Drive best-in-class client interaction and engagement to ensure on-going retention and growth of existing corporate clients and their assets.
* You'll build a high performing team by role modelling behaviours and developing colleagues through stretching objectives, feedback and coaching whilst demonstrating and embedding LBG Group Values.
* You'll contribute to the strategic direction of the Distribution team whilst support the definition of key business goals.
* You'll develop and implement medium term plans specific to Workplace Distribution, and define the resources required to ensure the continued satisfaction of customer needs.
* You'll provide a business consultancy service to senior management to improve business performance.
* By acting as the lead escalation point for the workplace client relationship teams, you'll take ownership for key customer issues, leveraging stakeholder network.
* You'll actively build and maintain external and internal network to identify industry best practice.
* You'll lead business projects or represent the function in corporate projects with an impact across a whole division or divisions, evaluate risks and recommend solutions which meet business goals.

This role is subject to the Senior Manager Certification Regime. UK wide travel based on client demand.
