What is the role?

Amey is looking for a full-time immediate start Customer Service Operator to join our team of 5. You will be based at our main office where parking is available on site. The ideal profile will be strong customer/stakeholder relationship with intermediate excel skills. Over time is available.

Location: Waterside House Amey, NN4

Core hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00

What does the role involve?

• Efficiently and effectively answer a high volume of calls within agreed time frame
• Build and maintain strong relationship with contractors and engineers
• Liaise with clients and internal/ on-site staff for progress chasing
• Provide relevant weekly and monthly reports and possibly data analysis for the team (training will be provided)
• Process calls, e-mails, fax and web requests
• Take ownership of all processed requests and see them through to completion

What are we looking for?

• Customer service/call centre experience is preferred but not essential
• Intermediate excel knowledge i.e. ability to use VLOOKUP, Pivot Table and conditional formatting (desirable)
• Able to multi task and prioritise your workload with minimal supervision
• Enjoy learning and training others where required
• Experience of working within a facilities management helpdesk environment (desirable)
