What a great opportunity to meet people and impact on improvements across Gatwick Airport. The Market Research Survey Interviewers conduct short surveys with the public to gather the necessary information that supports business improvements.
The Market Research Survey Interviewer team have multiple surveys to conduct so its essential you are organised and love interacting with the public. You'll need an engaging style, and a passion for delivering a great customer experience.
- In order to be successful you'll need to demonstrate:
Excellent customer engagement experience
An ability to use technology
Strong interpersonal skills - Including the ability to simplify terminology for non-English speakers
Knowledge of market research and airports is desirable
Flexibility - this is a shift based roles with a varying pattern of shifts to suit the surveys need
Gatwick Airport Limited (GAL) is the most efficient single runway airport in the world. It serves more than 45 million passengers to over 220 destinations in 74 countries a year on a short and long-haul point-to-point basis. Gatwick is a major economic driver for the UK contributing £5.3 billion to national GDP, generating 85,000 jobs nationally, with around 24,000 jobs on the airport campus alone. Gatwick is a high growth business regularly achieving double digit year on year revenue growth. It has beaten its stretch EBITDA target every year for the last five years. Passenger volumes have grown by over 40% in the eight years since private ownership. GAL is owned by a group of international investment funds of which the private equity firm Global Infrastructure Partners is the largest shareholder.

Gatwick Airport is a major international airport near Crawley in southeast England, 29.5 miles south of Central London. It is the second-busiest airport by total passenger traffic in the United Kingdom, after London Heathrow
Gatwick opened as an aerodrome in the late 1920s, it has been in use for commercial flights since 1933. The airport has two terminals, the North Terminal and the South Terminal, which cover areas of 98,000 m2(1,050,000 sq ft) and 160,000 m2 (1,700,000 sq ft) respectively.It operates as a single-runway airport, using a main runway with a length of 3,316 m (10,879 ft). A secondary runway is available but, due to its proximity to the main runway, can only be used if that is out of use. In 2017, 45.6 million passengers passed through the airport, a 5.2% increase compared with 2016.
