The Planning and Sequencing Lead will develop the prioritised transition deployment plan to support Transition Directorates (TD) in delivering the Target Operating Model and related benefits. This role will require a high degree of collaboration with supply product owners, transition teams (e.g. recruitment, capability and location) and an analytical data driven approach.

Here's what you'll do:

* Co-ordination of the pan-divisional changes taking into account the other changes within the organisation at the same time, re-skilling and upskilling of colleagues to agile ways of working.
* The transition plan will consist of multiple transition states which will require detailed planning across multiple variables and trade off decisions aligned to value.
* Each transition state will require a refined backlog and set of activities that are ruthlessly prioritised and balance the needs of multiple TD areas and benefits delivery.
* A key requirement of this role will be to build the right balance of location vs value stream specific activity.
* You'll be responsible for risk, issues and dependency management recording across the transition team, whilst working with other members and partners in Group Transformation to ensure all are documented and mitigating plans are in place.
* Lead, motivate and develop a multi-site team (London & Halifax based) to ensure their individual and collective capabilities help to deliver the vision and objectives.
* Develop strong relationships with Transformation Leads and business management teams across the programme.

You'll possess excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate complex ideas, proposals, issues and implications to a range of business stakeholders, in a concise and compelling way.

You will be a High impact influencer who builds confidence and credibility through being able to see the bigger picture alongside a detailed understanding of the complex variables driving Transition prioritisation and be comfortable working in highly matrixed environments and making things happen through influencing and relationships vs. a command and approach.

You'll come with a strong Risk & Compliance mind-set and be someone who actively and naturally assesses and analyses relevant threats and missed opportunities, and develops effective risk mitigation plans in response to threats. Allied to this mind-set will be a good awareness of the Regulatory environment.
