Job Details

The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) is responsible for promoting transparency and integrity in business. We are the UK Competent Authority for audit and set the UK Corporate Governance and Stewardship Codes as well as UK standards for accounting, auditing and actuarial work. We monitor and take action to promote the quality of corporate reporting and operate independent enforcement arrangements for accountants and actuaries. We are currently recruiting for an HR Administrator to support the Human Resources function in the Strategy & Resources division. This is an opportunity to get involved in a varied and diverse range of HR tasks and work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. 

The Role:

The role involves….

  • Leading on employee lifecycle administration including onboarding for new starters, reference and DBS checks, probation, preparing contracts and other letters and conducting exit interviews.
  • Responding to HR queries
  • Assisting the Resourcing Adviser with end to end recruitment and the Learning & Development Manager on ad hoc tasks
  • Ensuring employee files, trackers and records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Provide support for cyclical and ad-hoc activity including projects and HR initiatives within agreed timescales.

The Person:

Some previous HR Administrative experience is preferred, as well as a HR qualification. The ideal candidates will have:

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a diverse and heavy workload
  • Experience working in a fast-paced team with knowledge of HR administration and processes
  • Excellent Word and Excel skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • A collaborative, tactful and confidential approach 

The role is based in our Central London Office. The post holder should be able to work flexibly to support the team’s activities and also provide cover within the FRC as necessary.
