We are currently recruiting for an experienced Training Administrator to join our National Operations Department team who provide training and support to our Network of Depots across the UK.

This role is based at our head office in Smethwick and you will report directly to the Network Process Manager.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Looking after administrative tasks on our online training system (DPD Academy) to include allocating access rights, updating training module data and monitoring the central queries email mailbox
  • Producing monthly, weekly and ad hoc training reports using data from DPD Academy in Excel, to be distributed to Network management via email
  • Co-ordination of data (dates, training requirements etc.) from various departments in preparation for the monthly Network Bulletin
  • Creating presentation slides (for example, process overviews for briefing documents or for weekly network training calls, updating training slides following process updates)
  • Gathering & updating screenshots for inclusion in network training films (including some minor editing of films)
  • Assistance with training document updates, for example incorporating process changes into existing induction documentation
  • General administrative duties and any other reasonable task as required by management

About you

To be successful in this role you must be able to evidence proven and demonstrable administrative experience ideally gained within a busy and pressurised environment.

Your strong attention to detail and logical approach to your work will be fully utilised in this role as will your ability to work on your own initiative and manage your time effectively.

We will also expect you to:

  • Have good Microsoft Office experience particularly Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience of Keynote would be advantageous
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Have strong organisational skills
