The pioneering NSPCC Schools Service delivers Our Speak out Stay safe programme which is giving a generation of children the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse and neglect.
The role of the schools organiser is to confidently promote this programme and other educational resources to school leaders, deliver important safeguarding presentations and maximise income through fundraising with school children.
Using your initiative and working to set targets, you will contact school leaders and use your influencing skills to gain agreement for you to deliver safeguarding assemblies that also have a focus on fundraising. You will deliver the motivational and engaging assemblies directly to children aged between 5 -11years and organise fundraising events using our own specially designed materials.
It’s a rewarding and varied role but also a demanding one. You will need experience of successfully working to targets, have excellent presentation and organisational skills and plenty of self-motivation. Articulate and numerate, you must also be confident and enthusiastic, with your own car and willing to travel widely throughout the area.
Through your work, you’ll deliver the NSPCC’s most important messages directly to thousands of children and in turn help to raise much-needed funds and make a big difference to children's lives.
Please complete an online application and ensure you complete the supporting statement fully by providing examples/evidence for each criteria in the person specification - please see full job description.
Interviews: Monday 17th December 2018
