Job Details

You might not know that Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) is the UK's leading digital bank and its biggest mobile bank - with over 13 million active online customers.
And with over 30m customers we're looking to harness the data we hold to ensure we become the best Bank for customers through our products and services.

We're now embarking on a three year, £3bn, transformation programme - putting unprecedented levels of investment into our platforms, people and data capabilities to build the bank of the future.
Could you have a key role to play in it?

Here's where you'll make a difference:
To support the Group's Transformation we've built an in-house Qualitative research capability which includes high-spec Research spaces in multiple locations across the countries that are available to support and inform all teams and brands across the business to ensure we're designing the best experiences for our customers. Our services are in high demand across the business, working on numerous programmes and projects to conduct vital end-to-end design research and customer testing across our mobile, tablet and desktop inventory. Our programme of work includes running research in our purpose built facilities in London, Halifax and Edinburgh on desktop and mobile environments as well as enabling our research team to conduct in-branch and ethnographic research supporting our understanding of the wider touch points of the end-to-end Customer journey.

In this unique role you will manage our existing tools library, creating a roadmap of future tools required and consistently reviewing them to ensure that they are all fit for purpose and anticipate needs. Additionally the role requires a close relationship with the Research community to develop and maintain different research techniques to ensure that they are shared across the business.

Your key accountabilities will include focusing on developing and maintaining a roadmap of different tools and techniques and aligning them to Research demand and planned activities. There is a challenge to not only keep our capabilities state of the art, but also to upgrade our tools and techniques across our entire estate. This also includes our physical presence across our Research facilities in London, Halifax and Edinburgh as well as developing our Ethnography proposition and training Researchers on the correct methods and GDPR compliance. Most significantly, you will be the main point of contact for all of the relationships created with both our internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Do you have what we need?

You'll enjoy an energising environment where you'll see our real passion for diversity and equal opportunity. We want to ensure our colleagues get genuine career opportunities as well as represent the communities we serve.

You'll need to have previous experience in with User Research best practise techniques. You will also have great stakeholder and supplier management skills and understand the onboarding process in a nutshell. You may also have knowledge of technology management around digital devices, Audio Visual (A/V) devices. You should also have experience of moderator-based usability testing software and/or coordinating online user research or other customer-oriented activities. You'll also be familiar with Facility Management and all of the requirements needed to create and maintain a welcoming, creative and desirable space.

So what can we offer you in return? A package that includes:
* Performance related bonus
* A generous pension contribution
* Car/allowance
* 30 days holiday plus bank holidays
* Private Health cover
* A flexible benefit cash pot to craft around your lifestyle
* Share schemes including free shares
* Discounted products and discounted high street shopping

So if joining us at a critical and exciting time is of interest then we'd love to hear from you…
