As a Transaction Manager you'll be a key part of our Business & Commercial Lending Operations team. You will take personal responsibility for ensuring an amazing customer experience whilst project managing every stage of complex lending journey’s. You will pro-actively liaise with internal and external partners, navigating any issues with a solution focus that utilises your proficiency in legal documentation, due diligence and corporate law. 

So what would you be doing?...

• Assessing, analysing and providing suggested solutions to take deals (trading, development and investment) forward so that the Relationship Director is free to move on to the next deal

• Dealing with issues around statutory requirements and finding solutions to move towards satisfaction & draw down.

• Managing multiple stakeholders and clients providing creative solutions to complex issues whilst at all times protecting the bank from loss (financial, regulatory or reputational)

• Present all conditions precedent for sign off

• Help build processes and policies for the team – this is a banking revolution!

• Competent financial analysis to understand company performance and complex corporate structures

• Experience of writing Commercial & Corporate term sheets

• Be able to analyse complex corporate structures & report to Credit Risk, Legal & Relationship Managers

• Robust knowledge of Loan Market Association documentation – predominately Bilateral, although familiarity with syndicate precedent documents an advantage

• Familiarity with UK Property, Banking and Corporate law
