What is the purpose of this role?

We are currently recruiting a Multi Skilled Tradesmen, we are looking for people with a 'can do' approach who enjoy working within a team but can also work autonomously.  You will work as part of a dynamic and growing team providing excellent service at all times to our client.

• Shift Pattern: Rotating shift pattern – 1 weekend in 3 (15% shift allowance)

• Hours per week: Monday to Thursday 7.45-16.45, Friday 7.45-15.45 and weekends are 7:45-15:45

• Location: HM Prison Ranby, Retford DN22 8EU

What will this role involve?

• Carry out general maintenance tasks across site
• Assisting other tradesmen on projects or vandalism repairs as and when required
• Responsibility for the care and maintenance of tools, plant, materials and additional company property
• Deliver work allocated to the standards of quality required and within set timescales
• Ensure the Health and Safety of self and others in the workplace in accordance with company policy
• Follow and adhere to instructions and directives from line management and the Central Co-ordination Team
• Compliance with relevant company Health & Safety Policy, instructions and directives

What are we looking for?

• Completed apprenticeship in a relevant trade City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Current full driving licence
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Joinery, Tiling, Plumbing and Plastering skills but not qualifications
• Interpersonal skills
• Time management
• Good awareness and understanding of personal health and safety, method statements and risk assessments
• Required Technical Skills
• Previous work related experience
• Enthusiastic, Punctual, Conscientious, Self-motivated and good Interpersonal skills
• Accurate measuring and scoping of works
