A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join L&Q at a very exciting time where we will invest, grow and transform our business to provide a better service to customers old and new.

We are looking for a driven and forward thinking Administrator to provide relevant administrative support to our  IT department. You will need great communication and collaboration skills as you will often be the point of contact for internal and external customers and other stakeholders. Basic understanding of ITprocesses, and IT procurement frameworks will be advantages too.

The role reports into the Finance & Administration Lead but will work across all areas of the business.  The IT Administrator will be aligned to the Planning function of IT, who ensure that resourcing,  product/projectmanagement, vendor management, and administration are all fulfilled withinL&Q standards.

 

The IT Administrator will:

  • Operate in line with the L&Q values and delivering excellent customer service. Undertake a range of administrative duties and business processes which may include purchase order processing and basic financial accounting.
  • Manage the lifecycle for service assets (hardware, software, intellectual property, licences,warranties etc.)
  • Manage the procurement of assets, compliance, and disposal, aiming to optimise the total cost of ownership and sustainability by minimising operating costs, improving investment decisions and capitalising on potential opportunities.

Skills and Expertise:

  •  Excellent communication skills, and able to work collaboratively within a team
  • Basic understanding of IT processes, and IT procurement frameworks
  • Experience of working with 3rd party suppliers
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • IT admin experience within a large IT department
