We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced part-time Evening Cleaner to work 4 hours a day from Monday to Friday to be responsible and clean the office areas, meeting rooms, toilets and corridors.

• Location: Westminster City Hall, 5 Strand, London, WC2N 5HR
• Working Hours: 20 hours a week
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 17:00 to 21:00
• Contract: Permanent

What is the purpose of this role?

• Ensuring that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
• Equipment are maintained and stored correctly
• Always keeping in line with and health and safety regulations.

What will this role involve?

• Work according to legislative regulations i.e ensuring the correct use of colour coded equipment
• Comply with Internal and External HSEA requirements
• Provide a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements
• Control stock levels and order consumables to ensure service delivery through the correct channels
• Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
• Ensure a high quality service is provided to the building users at all times ensuring customer satisfaction
• Report any concerns or issues to the supervisor immediately for action e.g. broken equipment
• Ensure that all duties are completed in the time provided to a high standard
• Operate in accordance with the Soft Services Platform and Handbook

What are we looking for?

• Have good attention to detail
• Be able to work independently and use own initiative
• Welcome the opportunity to learn and support others
• Have cleaning experience, however this is not essential as full training will be provided
• The successful candidate will be required to go through a security check prior to starting for this position.
