What is the purpose of this role?
To install, maintain service and repair electrical installations, circuits and wiring system across the Waltham Forest areas.
- Location: Multi sites across the Waltham Forest areas.
- Working hours: 40 hrs a week
- Contract: Permanent
What will this role involve?
- Carry out PPM tasks, Distribution board testing and servicing/ Annual and Monthly Emergency light testing (please note its advantageous to be converse in Central Battery Systems), PAT Testing and EICR Testing.
- Undertake reactive tasks which mainly consists of a variety of lighting issues and small power failures or additions. Need to be competent in carrying out Minor Works Certification.
- Candidate needs to be pro- active in finding and quoting works which is coming to the end of its life cycle or is a Health and Safety issue.
What are we looking for?
- Full UK driving licence
- 17th/18th Edition
- C&G part 1 & 2
- NVQ Level 3
- PASMA (advantage)
- IPAF (advantage)
- C&G 2391 (advantage)
Successful candidate will be required to undergo a security check prior to starting.
What makes this role unique?
You will test and inspect electrical installations in domestic properties in accordance with the 17th IEE wiring regulations as amended from time to time (“the regulations).
