You could play a role in shaping the direction of fundraising for a charity dedicated to providing compassionate, supportive care for patients with a terminal illness.

Duration: Maternity cover - 1-year Fixed Term Contract

Hours: full time (37.5 hours per week) OR part time will be considered

Closing date: 20th January

Interview dates: 30th and 31st January

Benefits: You will receive a mobile phone and mileage allowance, plus free parking and subsidised meals. Top that off with 28 days annual leave with the opportunity to buy more and a generous pension scheme. This is a maternity cover contract, but they are open to receiving applications from candidates that would prefer a one-year fixed term contract.

About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, passionate team of Fundraisers. Your career will develop within the organisation, who are committed to training and development. As Fundraising Manager you will provide leadership, management and inspiration to all staff and volunteers in the Fundraising Department as part of the Fundraising Leadership Team. Managing income streams is a vital part of this job, so you need to be sure that you are motivated by achieving (and beating!) budgets.

You will ensure that ‘relationship fundraising’ is embraced in every aspect of our interaction with hospice donors and supporters to deliver the full potential of fundraising for the charity and maximise income for the hospice.

About you:

The successful Fundraising Manager will need to have a knack for developing great relationships and building rapport, with the ‘donor’ at the heart of the approach to fundraising. Experience of developing and managing successful direct mail campaigns is an essential criterion for this vacancy.

Having proven experience in a Fundraising, Marketing or Sales role, whilst managing a successful team is a must.
