Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity to join Macquarie Group as we embark on a major program of work to replace the current PeopleSoft (ERP) platform to transform the operating model and way of working within our Financial Management Group.

In order to achieve this, we are looking for a Senior Change Management professional to act as the conduit between the Central Program Team and in-region user-base, working with the Program Lead to set and maintain a robust set of program controls and standards, which meet the requirements of the Steering Committee and other key stakeholders.

As Regional Project and Change Lead, you will manage and monitor the regional program timeline, milestones and resource usage, specifically during Design phase as key SME’s are involved, and co-ordinate regional programme governance ensuring all stakeholders are clear of their roles and responsibilities. You will be required to own and prepare status and governance reports (including the production of high quality presentations for management committees and other forums) and manage the local regulatory approval process, including attending and leading consultation meetings with the local regulator. You will lead the local change management and stakeholder engagement aspects by utilising the central change team’s approaches, methods and deliverables, and prepare and issue local communications to ensure all countries within the region are informed and aware of upcoming milestones and requests. You will drive an effective risk and compliance culture, ensuring detailed risk analysis is performed for the regional aspects of the program with any identified risks being are mitigated and raised to management.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong track record in leading regional teams or workstreams on other finance transformation programs, including building senior stakeholder relationships and influencing the successful outcomes of the program. You will have the ability to work through periods of ambiguity and be able to communicate and resolve complex issues in a straightforward manner demonstrating strong program management disciplines. You will have excellent change management skills with the ability to lead and drive improvement and have proven experience in working with major finance package technology vendors (e.g. Oracle and SAP).

Essentially, you will have strong stakeholder management skills across Business, IT, Risk, Finance, Vendor Management, and Legal stakeholders

Working at Macquarie

We believe in providing a positive environment for all our staff that is innovative and inspiring. For our female staff, Macquarie’s senior leaders are actively involved in increasing the representation of females in management positions.  In June 2014, we launched a mentoring programme for females, with the following two objectives:

  • Address female retention rates at Senior Manager level and improve our diverse pipeline of talent;
  • Engage female Senior Managers by providing tools and support around their personal development;

The programme pairs up Senior Managers with Directors, who meet on a monthly basis, and are supported by active group sessions (bi-monthly) with an external facilitator.

We select some of the brightest minds to help us in solving complex challenges for our clients.  We recognise that recruiting talent from varied backgrounds is essential to improving our understanding of the marketplace, and enhancing creativity and problem-solving capabilities in our businesses.

Because of this, our commitment to you is to create a diverse and inclusive workplace regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or cultural background.

We make this commitment not only because it is the right thing to do but it opens up a world of opportunity, securing the future of our people, our success and our business
