An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Commercial Manager to provide commercial expertise to our large Ministry of Justice contract. Working across the East Midlands  and Yorkshire, the Commercial Manager will work alongside the Regional Facilities Manager delivering total FM services to Prisons across the region.

Currently in the 4th of a 5-year agreement Amey provide Total Facilities Maintenance to 57 MOJ sites in total, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance valued at approximately £92 million per year. In this role you will be responsible for providing commercial support to 20 of those sites. You will work closely with the Regional Facilities Manager and the Site Manager for each location, working to ensure that commercial best practice is adhered to, and Health and Safety continues to be a top priority across the board. Responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and managing KPIs at the local level
  • Reporting on profit & loss for each site
  • Reporting on income resource on a monthly basis
  • Ensuring that each site is compliant and is working according to contract
  • Liaising with the client; establishing a firm working relationship to ensure continuous improvement of the contract

The successful candidate will have strong commercial experience within the FM industry, ideally built from a QS backround. You should have a strong focus on Health & Safety and contract compliance with the drive to ensure high safety stands are maintained across multiple sites at all times. This role also requires excellent client management, any experience working with a large client or local authority would be beneficial.

Due to the spread of sites across the region this role can be based out of any site best suited for the successful candidate across the East Midlands and Yorkshire areas.
