Communications and Digital Manager - Homeworking Available
Our client is a local charity supporting over 10,000 unpaid carers. The charity has ambitious plans to develop digital solutions to better support and communicate with beneficiaries and stakeholders. The Communications and Digital Manager is a new, senior management position which will be central in developing and delivering the charities’ strategy.
Location: Wiltshire, flexible hours, partly home based with a minimum of 3 days per week at the office in Semington
Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday plus occasional weekend/evening
Benefits: 28 days holiday in addition to bank holidays, 5% employer contribution to pension, free annual eye tests.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Partnerships and Development Manager, the Communications and Digital Manager will be supported by a team made up of a Digital Officer, Communications and PR Officer and Young Adult Carers (YAC) Communications Officer.
The Communications and Digital Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the charities digital, communications and marketing strategies; the creation and distribution of content across all media, the implementation and management of a charity wide CRM and the integrity of the charity’s brand.
Managing the content, design and functionality of all of our client’s websites will be a key function of this role. The Communications and Digital Manager will also take the lead on projects with strong communications or digital elements, such as promoting digital support tools, increasing online referrals and awareness raising events like Carers Week.
As Communications and Digital Manager you will have substantial digital communications and marketing experience. This will include an understanding of front end web design and UI, CMS systems, MailChimp and CRM campaigns, SEO, Google Analytics and leading social media monitoring platforms.
You will be an experienced manager of people, be well organised with the ability to work around problems. You will be managing the implementation of the new CRM, so previous experience of using/implementing CRM systems is essential, ideally with understanding of inbound sales technologies.
