Are you an experienced L&D Officer looking to work for a values driven law firm?

Why work with us?

We are a different kind of law firm, unique in our commitment to only working on the part of the injured or mistreated and never for employers or insurers, something we have maintained since our inception in 1921.

Our strongly held values are driving the transformation and modernisation our people function, which means that you will have the opportunity to be part of the redesign and be responsible for the creation of contemporary learning and development interventions.

The opportunity:

Due to our commitment to continuous improvement, we are seeking a proactive L&D Officer who has the passion and creativity to be part of this change as the function evolves.

You will work as part of our collaborative HR team, primarily based in Birmingham with some travel to our other national locations.

This opportunity will suit you if:

  • You have experience of creating, managing and delivering training, learning and performance support using a wide range of learning methods
  • You have experience of delivering high quality classroom-based learning and possess credible presentation, communication and training skills
  • You have experience of using e-learning software to build engaging e-learning content
  • You flourish in a fast paced, responsive working environment

Experience of delivery in the legal or professional services sector would be advantageous but not essential.

Our team culture

We strive to be the best, both as a team and as individuals; we do this collaboratively not competitively and understand the value of all pulling in the same direction.

As a result, we are supportive of one another and work as a team on all items that impact the function and the service people receive from us.
