Due to continued expansion we are delighted to be recruiting for an exceptional information manager to support the BIM compliance, document imaging, project managers and supply chain team collaboration as well as managing our document control team.

The information manager is a new role for Willmott Dixon Interiors and will provide technical expertise and leadership to implement, develop and manage a successful Document Management and Control process within Willmott Dixon.

Our office is within easy reach from a number of stations: Blackfriars, Cannon Street, Farringdon, Fenchurch Street, Holborn, Liverpool Street and Waterloo.

Responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the delivery of the LCO Document Management Implementation plan.

Establishing skills gap for pre-construction and construction teams and report to DoO. Offer on-site training where capable.

Capture and share learning/ best practice with the LCO DC team.

Recruit and manage a team of Document Controllers.

Set up, manage and support successful collaboration on the common data environment from tender launch through to completion.

Set up, manage and support fieldview/ task management tool and deploy to the team. Organise training as appropriate.

Ensure Document Controls are in line with BIM protocols and procedures.

Technical or Operational

Proven experience of:

  • Information Management Systems software.
  • Deliver and handover a BIM project
  • Basic understanding of the design and construction process
  • A clear, logical and systematic approach
