Job Details

Roche’s Product Development Safety Risk Management (PDS) organisation is structured by product development phases, therapeutic areas and sites. PDS enhances healthcare for patients by understanding and communicating the safety profile of Roche medicines to optimise their benefit-risk profile.

Who we are

We’re innovation, curiosity and diversity – multiplied by 80,000 professionals in 150 countries. As a global leader in research-focused healthcare, we’re constantly learning and growing – and seeking people who share these goals.

The Position

In this role you’ll combine business systems analysis and knowledge of machine learning, AI and process design with an ambition to enhance healthcare through information. Enabling the development of strategies which will promote and facilitate information sharing, your expertise in analytics will be used to shape new technological and information-centric business solutions in the field of pharmaceutical safety. Working within a complex environment including regulatory considerations and internal and external guidelines, you’ll need to be confident and competent working with project teams and wider internal and external functions.

Demanding project management skills and technological fluency, you’ll be viewed as an expert, offering guidance to less experienced team members and contributing to technical application design and system design and management. You’ll have the opportunity to lead as well, driving projects and cross functional initiatives. With influence over key safety information systems and services, the role demands high ethical standards a rigorous analytical approach and technological excellence.

Who you are

You’re someone who wants to influence your own development. You’re looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests across functions and geographies, and where a job title is not considered the final definition of who you are, but the starting point.

With a degree or a similar equivalent in computer science, life science or a related discipline, you’ll bring with you a rich experience of designing, managing and improving business processes, specifically involving the application of machine in learning and AI in a problem solving capacity. With an understanding of user needs, business analysis and working methods in an international organization, you’ll be familiar with drug safety data and reporting practices.

In return we offer a competitive salary plus the excellent benefits you would expect from a blue-chip organisation, including a genuine interest in your development.

This is a Band 4 role.

Closing date for applications is; 27th January 2019
