At Bluebird Care our Care Assistants have one thing in common, they are all very happy! The reason why they are happy is because we value and respect ALL of our staff.

We provide our Care Assistants a friendly, supportive and professional environment for you to do one important thing - put a smile on the faces of the people who make up your community. We treat our customers like family; we laugh, we share, we engage and we provide that extra bit of support, just like you would with any family member.

Our 5 longest serving Care Assistants have been with us for 33 years combined! And that is because we are an employer that cares. Our Manager has an open door policy and they are available at any time for a catch up - whether that's because you want to share a heart warming story about a customer or because you need some extra support, no matter the scenario we are always here to support you.

We are proud to support our local community and we truly embody the idea of person centred care, and that is the reason why OUR care visits average 1 hour per client and a minimum of 30 minutes - we give you time to care.

Here is how we support/reward our Care Assistants:

- £10.20 weekdays
- £11 weekends
- £16 Bank holidays
- 25 pence per mile mileage allowance
- Care Assistant of the month
- We always send Birthday & Xmas cards and have an annual Xmas party
- Anniversaries celebrated with badges and pins
- We always remember to say thank you - it is your support that makes a difference to people's lives.
- Variety of shifts available including day shifts, back shifts and overnights both full-time and part-time; allowing you the flexibility of a good work/life balance

If you are new to care then don't worry. We have a well-designed training and support program in place to make sure you are confident in what you do, with lots of support both over the phone and out in the community. We have an open-door policy for our Care Assistants and an incredibly well led and supportive management and training team who are always available to help you and listen to your ideas and feedback.

Our customers mean a lot to us, and the way we support them is by providing a bit of extra help to allow them to remain living in the comfort and safety of their own home. This includes companionship, food preparation, help with medication, trips out, support with personal care, assistance with domestic tasks, helping people start their day and being a friendly face to have a cup of tea with and share stories - just like you would with your own family.

If you would like to join a company where you re valued and respected and work amongst a group of lovely, warm people then apply today and friendly recruitment team will be in touch to say hello
