Job Details

This is a unique role at Chelsea FC, working as a Venue Receptionist on a one year fixed term contract for the main venue receptions at Stamford Bridge Stadium in Fulham, London. Working as a Chelsea FC representative to meet and greet visitors, answer and direct all incoming calls.

Venue Receptionist working hours: 35 hours a week across any 5 of 7 days. Working shifts between 8.00am-16.00pm, 8.30am-16.30pm or 10.00am-18.00pm including matchdays.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To meet and greet all visitors, clients and personnel to Chelsea Reception in a professional and friendly manner.
  2. To ensure all visitors complete signing -in process and directing them to appropriate department.
  3. To answer all calls in a prompt and professional manner and to direct calls to relevant personnel/department.
  4. To answer all emails in a prompt and professional manner and to direct emails to relevant personnel/department.
  5. To ensure that all marketing material is kept up to date in the reception area
  6. To ensure up to date with all events on site, and following the guest list procedure
  7. To help specific departments with adhoc correspondence when required.
  8. To update and amend the staff security passes.

Measures of Performance:

  1. Well-groomed and presented.
  2. Callers and visitors are greeted in a friendly manner and directed to the appropriate departments
  3. The reception area is maintained tidily, with up-to-date promotional material
  4. Up-to-date and informed of events and services taking place on site

Person Specification:

  1. Polite and friendly with a commitment to excellent customer service, and a desire to present a professional image of Chelsea.
  2. Previous customer service experience
  3. Excellent communications skills
  4. Competent in the use of Word, Excel, email and internet/intranet
  5. Able to work under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism and good humour
