We are looking for experienced Concierge for a Part Time opportunity with our Manchester based client.

Our client boasts an impressive portfolio of some of the most stunning and culturally significant properties Greater Manchester has to offer. The successful candidate will be based at one of the most exclusive buildings in the city that offers tenants both unique living and office space along with state-of-the art facilities.

This is would be a part time post of 4.5 hours per shift working 15.30 to 20.00 Monday to Friday.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Opening up and locking up (if required) and daytime security operation.

* Monitoring of CCTV (Training will be provided)

* First point of call to tenants, distribution of post, taking telephone queries and emails from tenants and suppliers or maintenance contractors.

* Concierge duties for all tenants

* Helping with bags, holding door open, ordering taxies etc.

* Routine checks for maintenance - first line check in the event of problems prior to calling out contractors. Keeping appropriate records.

* Keeping the reception area and the area around the perimeter of the building tidy and clean

* Weekly fire alarm checks including fire drill

* Named first aider for the building

* Assisting the Buildings Manager with administration and purchasing

* General building security including appropriate action in the event of any suspicious incidents observed.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

* Must demonstrate basic – intermediate computer skills i.e. able to send and receive emails, using MS Word and updating e/maintain Excel spreadsheets.

* Flexible in undertaking occasional out of hours

* Promote a smart, corporate appearance

SALARY

* £9-10 per hour + benefits
