If you are an experienced office manager looking for a part-time position within a forward-thinking friendly company, we have the opportunity for you with our Colchester our Colchester based client on a part-time basis. As part-time office manager, your role will be very important as you will be a great support to the director and his team. The role of part-time office manager will be working within a small team and holding responsibility for ensuring all tasks by every member of staff including yourself are carried out to the highest standard. The company can offer to you a great team environment where everyone works alongside each other ensuring the job gets done, no matter what your title or position is, therefore as part-time office manager you must be a real team player, dedicated to working just as hard as anyone working alongside and with you. Our client can be flexible with the hours that you work but ideally, you will work on a Monday to Friday basis.
The Role
* Ensuring the office runs smoothly when the director away
* Maintaining great communication internally and externally
* Assist and input with the company’s social media, their Facebook, twitter etc
* Respond to all enquiries either digitally or by phone and ensuring any query or task is completed
* Deal with incoming sales enquiries that come into the office
* Working strongly as a team
* Dealing with Sales order processing, purchase order processing and reconciliation of payments into the company bank accounts.
* Flexible hours Monday to Friday
The Person
* Previous experience of dealing with all aspects involved in a busy office, accounts, sales, customer service, queries etc
* Happy to undertake a variety of tasks and duties as required
* Some experience of handling accounts
* Ideally knowledge of sales force and/or Xero
* Self-motivated
* Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
* Very strong team player
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
* Knowledge of social media, Facebook, Twitter and linked in
* Literate in Microsoft office.
