Location - Larbert (near Falkirk) FK5 4RB – Super easy to get to by car, bus and train

Temp to Perm, full-time 37.5 hours per week , salary £15,000pa (part time also available), £7.95ph

Shift pattern

12-8 Monday – Thursday and 10-6 on a Friday, 1 Saturday per month , hours are 10am-2pm.

What you'll do

The government wants energy suppliers to install smart meters in every home in Scotland, England, and Wales. There are more than 26 million homes for the energy suppliers to get to, with the goal of every home being offered a smart meter by 2020. The government has set the targets and established roles and responsibilities for the national rollout of smart meters.

Based in our Larbet Contact Centre, this roles requires contacting customers and make the necessary arrangements to book in a smart meter installation and complete the various administration procedures. The role involves a large amount of interaction with customers via telephone and administration to ensure appointments are booked correctly and customers followed up accordingly. Full training is provided.

There is no selling as part of the role. The focus is on having a well arranged appointment and achieving the targets set by our client Scottish Power.

The ideal candidate requires a combination of energy with effective and clearly spoken telephone conversational skills plus a drive and focus to succeed. So if you feel that you have the following additional attributes then you could be that person: -

· An ability to build on their past sales experience (direct or indirect)

· Have an outgoing personality with the ability to 'LISTEN'

· The capacity to pick up new processes quickly, that includes software and the product training you will receive.

How you'll do it

* Acting as a first point of call, making outbound calls to customers consulting with them on Smart meter products and use your knowledge to explain how the Smart meter can benefit them

* Securing quality appointments for the installation engineers to attend and demonstrate the product

* Working within a target driven environment, exceeding daily and weekly targets

* Providing customers with excellent customer service

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have the following:

* Call Centre experience isn't essential, however good telephone and IT skills are required.

* A chatty, light, bubbly personality

* Have a willingness to excel within a targeted environment

* Be confident and have an excellent telephone manner

* Be passionate and have a history of excellent customer service

* Strong communication skills

* Admin skills such as Microsoft, email, etc.

* Target driven

* Motivated with a desire to succeed

* Organised with a keen eye for detail

* Ability to work to deadlines
