The Role- Complex Needs Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist SEN centre within this popular College in Barnet. The Complex Needs Teaching Assistant is part-time (26 hours a week) over 4 days. For this Complex Needs Teaching Assistant role, you will be supporting a group of learners during the day who have various needs. For this Complex Needs Teaching Assistant role, you must ideally have a least 1 year’s experience supporting learners with complex needs including challenging behaviour, learning difficulties and physical disabilities or other multiple needs within an educational environment. Experience of PEG feeding is essential and the role will involve Personal Care. To be a successful Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you must understand the needs of the pupils you are supporting and have a positive mind-set to the role.
