Days & Hours: Saturday: 10.00pm – 8:00am. One or two Saturday night shifts per month

A part-time permanent position is now available in a small but busy and dedicated home care team supporting Jane, a 13 year old with complex needs. Jane has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and is registered blind, therefore requires 24/7 support. Jane lives with her family in a fully adapted house.

In this position you will support Jane through-out the night following her care plan ensuring all her care and medical needs are met to the highest standard. Typical duties will include carrying out Jane’s personal care routine, administering all medication, nutrition and liquids via PEG. Due to Jane’s epilepsy close monitoring is essential and changes must be documented. Full care plan and routine in place to follow for the night routine.

This job will suit an experienced female* waking night carer / support worker with experience supporting a client with complex medical needs and a physical disability.
