We all still go out in the field regularly to care for our Clients; including the owner, before he fell from his bike and broke his hip! We are a Care provider that stays in touch with our Care Assistants.

We pride ourselves on our on-going support to our Care Assistants as it is you that makes a difference to the people in your community on a daily basis.

Operating throughout Newcastle, Forest Hall, Wallsend and North Tyneside areas our Care Assistants are the reason why Right at Home has developed such a strong reputation for providing outstanding care.

How do we reward our Care Assistants?

- £9.30 - 9.47 per hour (including holiday pay)
- Additional payment on bank holidays
- 30p mileage
- Industry leading training
- Full time and part time roles available
- 12 hour shifts available for non-drivers (preferably experienced)

What the role of Care Assistant will include:

- Providing companionship and putting a smile on the faces of those who require support in your community
- Assisting with all aspects of personal care
- Understanding general and specific aspects of the needs of older and younger people with care and support needs.
- A person centered approach to care planning, communication, promoting individual rights, etc.
- Enjoying yourself! Working in care is an amazing role!

We are looking for CareAssistants who want to be part of a company that does invaluable work in the community and provides the support and respect that comes with such an important role.

If you are new to care then don't worry. We have a well-designed training and mentoring program in place to make sure you are confident in what you do, with lots of support both over the phone and out in the community.
