Short Job Description:
Creative Support is a not-for-profit organisation which provides high quality person-centred social care services for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and other support needs.
We are very excited to be expanding our service provision in Birmingham, and are currently recruiting for Support Workers within our supported living services across the area.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, resourceful and energetic individuals who are well motivated, hardworking and keen to join our friendly team. You will provide person-centred support to tenants to take part in all aspects of everyday life and to engage and participate with their local communities.
Although previous experience is not essential, you will demonstrate the values that are essential for a role of this nature such as warmth, compassion and unconditional positive regard. You will receive a full local and corporate induction. You will have access to ongoing internal and external training and personal development through regular supervisions and appraisals.
Full and part time hours are available. You will be required to work in a flexible manner on rota which includes evenings and weekends.
In addition to opportunities for personal and career development, we offer good conditions of service and a supportive, hands-on management culture.
If you feel that you would be interested in applying for this position, we would very much like to hear from you
