Part-time Health and Safety Advisor

3 days per week – (Flexible)

Location: Chelmsford

Hours: 7.30am-5.30pm

Salary: 30k pro rata

My client, a construction company within the Chelmsford area, is looking for a part time Health and Safety Advisor to join their thriving business. Due to continued success and rapid expansion, they are looking for an experienced Health and Safety advisor to join their team.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

* Working closely with the Health and safety manager to oversee and implementing necessary changes to the health and safety process of the business

* Ensuring all incidents/accidents are reported and investigated thoroughly

* Providing advice and guidance on any H&S matters

* Carrying out H&S audits

* Conducting any necessary health and safety training

* Ensuring new starters and existing employees are fully health & safety trained

* Reviewing high-risk activity and ensuring measures are in place to avoid accidents

Experience & Qualifications

* Minimum of 4 years’ experience with a construction industry

* Previous Health and Safety work history

* Valid CSCS Card

* IOSH/Nebosh

* Must be a car driver with a Full UK driving licence
