The Role – Account Manager (flexible hours, equivalent to 3 days per week)
Seeking an account manager to service approx. 45 institutional clients. These clients are made up of asset managers, hedge funds, banks and corporate pension schemes. Ideal candidate has at least 3 years’ experience within the financial services industry, managing a subscription book of business. We are looking for a tenacious self-starter and strong team player.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with key account users (from portfolio managers to CIO’s)
-Collate feedback on clients’ investment approach to distinguish where our product best fits
-Navigate the structure of large clients to identify and pursue potential growth areas
-Gain word-of-mouth referrals to broaden user base and grow revenue within accounts
Requirements
-3 years + experience within the financial services industry, managing a renewing subscription book of business
-Proven track record of managing and growing relationships with financial institutions
-Experienced in navigating these types of firms to target new end users
-Excellent presentation and communication skills
-Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage priorities
-Self-motivated, can work remotely and as part of a growing team
Preferences
-Good understanding of the independent research space
-Knowledge/experience of Salesforce CRM
Flexible working
4 days per week, totalling 24hrs. We are happy to consider flexible working hours to accommodate school holidays for example
Based:
Work from home
You will be working closely with the company directors so you will occasionally work in either Surrey or Putney. Being within an hour of both locations is therefore preferable.
The job will also require occasional travel to clients. In most cases this will be to London.
