A marina and waterfront consultancy is seeking to recruit an organised and enthusiastic Office Administrator to provide support to our professional team based within our offices in Gosport. The successful candidate will have relevant PA or related experience with proficient use of Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Key duties will include:

• General office administration and providing the initial point of contact for telephone calls, visitors and general e-mail enquiries

• Reconciliation of expenses and petty cash

• Responsible for the consistency and quality of reports and documentation prior to client issue, including typing, document structure and formatting

• Active coordination of staff diaries

• Maintaining confidential office records including staff holiday records, personnel information including job offers and Terms & Conditions of employment

• Attending Board Meetings – preparation of Board Pack; take and produce minutes and action point lists

• Proactively arranging travel and hotel accommodation as required

• Assist ISO management team with maintaining ISO9001:2015 documentation and accreditation

Skills, capabilities, and key attributes:

• Polite, courteous and an attention to detail

• Appreciation and fundamental skill of MS Excel with high level of numerical ability

• Excellent IT skills, in particular an advanced level of competency in MS Word is essential when applied to report structure, styles, editing, formatting and templates

• Audio typing capability

• Proactive and self-motivated

• Professional and excellent communication skills

• Experience of working in a confidential environment is also considered an advantage

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard desirable, training will be provided

You should be well organised with a keen eye for detail, work well on your own initiative and as part of our team of professionals. This is a part-time role working a minimum of 20 hours per week between 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. If you are interested in this position please contact Nikki NOW
