Companionship is our biggest focus at Homeinstead. The reason people love working as a Care Assistant is simple - it's through the relationships you get to form with the people in your community, and with 2019 on the horizon, now is the time to start thinking about change, about a new direction with a company that values its Care Assistants and its clients.

As companionship is such an important element of the care we deliver, it is a chance for anyone with a kind nature (with a bit of spare time on their hands) to meet and engage with your local community - learning about their lives and getting to know the people you support, like any friend or family member would.

This means our Care Assistants spend their time engaging with our clients, listening to them, laughing with them, sharing with them and finding ways to make sure that they are valued for who they are and this is the reason why that all of our visits are a minimum of 1 hour - we give you time to care!

We match up our clients with our Care Assistants based on shared interests. If you love to bake, then support someone who would like some assistance in the kitchen, or to just watch Bake Off together! If you have a passion for gardening then why not share that with someone who would relish the company of another gardening enthusiast!
