Our client is a rapidly growing worldwide leader in the distribution of educational and technology items to a range of industry sectors.

Due to continued growth they are currently looking to recruit a part time Marketing Associate to join the team at their UK head office based in Hampshire

The role will include assisting in the development of online content and website administration through to the development of effective social media campaigns, organisation of internal events, and managing a database of key contacts. Liaison with both internal and external stakeholders will also be key. The role will include working with all aspects of Marketing both traditional and digital.

Key Duties:

* Working in conjunction with the Vendor Support and Marketing Manager to prepare and distribute a monthly blog on the world of Ed Tech with focusses on new product development, vendor updates and DS range extension.

* To prepare and execute email campaigns both to end users on behalf of vendors in conjunction with the Vendor Support and Marketing Manager, and to Resellers both by industry type and interest area.

* To prepare, coordinate and distribute effective Social Media content utilising the companies preferred platforms of LinkedIn and Twitter. Liaison with both external and internal stakeholders will be required.

* To assist in the preparation of Vendor marketing programmes advising on aspects of digital marketing where applicable.

* To plan and action effective periodic newsletters to resellers focussing on updates from DS, sharing successes and best practice when applicable, including if necessary, communications on price changes.

* To support the GM and Vendor Support and Marketing Manager in the execution of the Events calendar, assisting with planning, notification and ultimately delivery of the applicable event.

* To prepare and publish half yearly vendor portfolio catalogue, liaising with external stakeholders where necessary.

* To act as administrator for the company’s website, updating images and content where applicable.

* To provide general non-specified marketing support to the GM as and when required.

* Liaise with other stakeholders in the business both in the UK and US when necessary to ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and effective way

The successful applicant must have a proven track record of working within marketing and will ideally have a knowledge of the educational sector and possibly have experience of working in education such as teaching or educational sale/marketing. The individual will have an excellent knowledge of digital / social media marketing but also understand the remaining power of print/ email etc.

Candidates must be experienced in working with email communication platforms, photo and video editing programmes, WYSIWYGs Web platforms and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

The role is part time and it is envisaged will be for around 24-30 hours per week with days and times to suit
