Unitemps are acting as an Employment Business, supplying temporary workers, in relation to this vacancy. We are recruiting for a Marketing & Communications Accommodation Officer on behalf of a university accommodation provider to cover maternity leave for 12 months. In this role you will be tasked with working efficiently within Adobe Creative Cloud to create design work for the website, social media and print work for residents. The principle focus of this role will be delivery of an efficient marketing and administration as defined within the administration arrangements
This is a fixed-term, part-time job opportunity

Duties and responsibilities
• To coordinate the design and development of print, online promotional material and advertising
• To work with the Accommodation Administration team to provide a professional and efficient customer focused service
• Dealing with all stakeholders in a positive, courteous friendly manner to maximise occupancy levels and secure retention
•Work overtime, with reasonable notice as required, to cover absences and during student arrival/departure periods
•Travel and overnight stays for training and business requirements may be required
• Other duties necessary within the scope of the role
Skills and experience
• Excellent administrative experience, preferably in the Higher Education Sector or a similar service-orientated environment
• Detailed experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• Detailed working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and other IT software, including Word and Outlook
• Ability to analyse, manage and effectively report occupancy information
• Excellent organisational skills
• Evidence of successfully developing partnership working with key stakeholders within and external to the business
• Energetic, committed and positive
• Commitment to delivery of a quality service and highly customer focused
• Effective team player with ability to influence working practices
• Resilient under pressure
• Highly motivated and goal orientated
• Minimum GCSE or equivalent, Maths and English
