On behalf of our client based within the Droitwich area I am currently recruiting for HGV1 drivers to work on an on-going basis.

As a HGV1 Driver you will be required to trunk goods to and from several depots on a daily/weekly basis. Very little to no handball will be involved within the role, some waiting time while being loaded/unloaded is to be expected within this industry.

Work available Monday to Sunday, guaranteed a minimum of 50 hours per week with overtime available. Part time shifts or weekend only shifts are available for those who need some flexibility during the week.

Start times can vary between…

* DAYS – 04:00AM until 06:00AM starts

* AFTERNOONS – 12:00PM until 19:00PM starts

Finish times will vary depending on route you are working; 10 to 13 hours shifts per day. All drivers applying for these roles must be prepared to work long and possibly un-sociable hours.

Our client’s depot runs 52 weeks a year and the contract has recently been extended for another 5 years. Full-Time positions will be offered to those who show willing and eagerness within the roles.

Pay Rates (PAYE)…

* Monday to Friday - £11.50 per hour

* Saturday - £12.50 per hour

* Sunday - £14.50 per hour

As a HGV1 Driver you must posses the following…

* A minimum of 2+ years commercial driving experience on HGV1 vehicles.

* A full & valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

* Hold both a valid Digi Tacho Card & CPC Card.

* Have no previous IR10 or DR10 offences.

* A good geographical knowledge.

* Own transport to travel to and from work is desirable but not essential.

For all new drivers a £100.00 bonus is payable after completing 10 shifts.
