A leading law firm with an excellent reputation are expanding their Audio Typing team, based just outside Eastbourne, due to their continued success.

The successful Legal Audio Typist will join a small team of Legal Secretaries who handle the overflow typing and document production within the wider firm. The law firm specialise in Family law, Private Client and Property, and it would be preferable for the successful Legal Audio Typist to have prior experience within legal, and specifically in one (or more) of these areas of law, although training will be offered.

The successful Legal Audio Typist will offer the following skill set/background:

* Previous experience of audio typing, within professional services - ideally within law, covering areas noted above

* Fast and accurate typing skills (at least 70wpm)

* Ideally experience of digital dictation (BigHand or similar)

* Solid IT skills - MS Office essential, and ideally experience of CMS

* The ability to remain calm and professional when working under pressure

* Be a keen team player

* Have a flexible approach to work

* Have a willingness to learn

The successful Legal Audio Typist will join the team on a part-time basis, ideally working 4-5 hours per day (5 days per week), with the need to increase on occassion to cover holiday or sickness. Full-time hours may be considered for the right candidate. Core business hours are 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and working hours can be flexible to fit in with the successful candidate's commitments.
