Waking Night Support Workers - Brent Knoll (Somerset) - Full time positions and part time positions available - £9 - £10 per hour - Immediate Start

We are urgently recruiting for Night staff to work for one of the leading charities for autism and learning disabilities in the South West. You will be part of our growing staff team, working with service users with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. As a support worker you will support 6-8 service users in shared dwellings, ensuring you work with the health and safety of the house and supporting the users when needed.

We offer ongoing work with hours tailor made to suit your requirements, temporary to permament arrangements and permanent roles. The hours of work are either 21:00 - 08:00, 22:00 -08:00 or 22:00-07:30. Prior to applying, please ensure you can work the core working hours.

You will ideally have some experience working in the Social Care sector, either as a care assistant or a support worker. This role will also suit the right person who is caring, resilient and enjoys working in part of a great team to support the service users.

To be considered for this role:

- NVQ or Care Certificate is advantageous but not essential

- Subjected to an enhanced DBS disclosure

- Be able to provide professional references (up to 5 years of employment history)

- Have a driving license and car

- Have at least 3 months experience of working in the health and social care sector

- Ensure you can work the core shift hours
