Student Support Assistants needed to work with young adults with disabilities on a term time only contract with no sleep-in shifts!

I am looking to speak to candidates who are passionate about working with young adults with disabilities and are interested in becoming Student Support Assistants. You will work with a fantastic client group, receive excellent training, only work days and evenings with all school holidays off.

The young adults you will be supporting attend a fantastic college in Cheltenham and live either onsite or in homes in Gloucester.

Your role will be to offer support in daily tasks including washing, cleaning, meal time and ensuring college attendance. The students have a variety of behaviours including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, health issues and challenging behaviour.

* Salary of £16, 849.56 rising to £17, 373 in April

* Full time and part time contracts offered

* Term time only working which means all school holidays off work!

* Day and night shifts only – no sleep ins

* Shifts start earliest at 7am and latest 11pm, shifts last no longer than 9 hours. No long days.

* 3-week induction, full training and qualification assistance

All we are looking for is

* Prior care experience with young adults beneficial but not essential

* Genuine passion and commitment to working with learning disabilities

* Good communication skills

* Driving License and Vehicle (Essential)
