Support Workers required in Burnham-On-Sea - Full time and part time positions available - £9 per hour - Immediate Start

We are urgently recruiting for Support Workers to work for one of the leading charities in autism and learning disabilities in the South West. You will be part of our growing staff team working with service users with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. As a Support Worker, you will be encouraging service users to gain independence by supporting them in daily activities within the shared dwellings and out in the community, which may include activities such as cooking, cleaning and daily outings.

We offer ongoing hours tailor made to suit your requirements, temp to perm arrangements and permanent roles. We have a variety of contracts available- full time and part time. Hours of work are either 7:30-15:00, 15:00-22:30, 19:00-10:30 or Waking Nights.

To be considered for this role:

- You must have at least 3 months experience in the social care sector

- NVQ or Care Certificate is advantageous but not essential

- The position will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and professional references

- You must have a driving license and car

- You must be able to work the core shift hours
